Awesome Humans on the Hill (AHOH) Healthcare is Human Rally
A first-of-its-kind rally focused on healthcare worker mental health will take place in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, May 21, bringing together up to 500 professionals from across the healthcare spectrum. Hosted by FIGS in collaboration with the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation and its All In Coalition, the event aims to elevate awareness and advocacy for clinician wellbeing, including support for the Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Act. Scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. Eastern, the rally underscores a growing national movement to address burnout and mental health challenges across healthcare professions.
Dental professionals from the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions are encouraged to participate alongside peers from medicine, nursing, and allied health fields. Organizers note that complimentary scrubs will be provided by FIGS for those who RSVP by April 24, ahead of the 500-person attendance cap. The event represents a unique opportunity for the dental community to join a broader coalition of healthcare workers advocating for systemic change and increased support for mental health across the industry. RSVPs are accepted after April 24, but you may have to pick up your scrubs at the event.
