There are many advantages to becoming a member of the SVDA. Our members are able to take advantage of Continuing Education seminars close to home; develop relationships and enjoy camaraderie with fellow practitioners; and also become part of the Virginia Dental Association and American Dental Association. We also offer a reduced dues membership program for recent graduates.

There are various committees on which a member can be a part such as ethics and judicial affairs, communication and information technology and dental health and public information.
